On the second Sunday in August, the streets of Marda Loop come alive with a New Orleans-themed Marda Gras Street Festival. This free one-day event includes the sights, sounds and cuisine of The Big Easy. With over 150 trendy shops, boutiques and restaurants, Marda Loop is a walkable shopping and dining district in the heart of Southwest Calgary.
